Years 5 and 6

In the primary years of Le Regent College we aim to provide happy and vibrant classes where each child is given the space and freedom to learn. We understand that a child’s first experience of school is a vital step in their learning journey, developing knowledge, skills and self-confidence which lay the foundations for their lives. We aim to provide a broad and exciting curriculum which will stimulate young minds and ignite a love of learning.

English, Mathematics, Geography, History, Religious Studies, ICT, Drama, Art, PSHE and Library are taught by the class teacher. Those pupils learning English as a Second Language (ESL) are taught by an ESL teacher. Geography, History, Art and Technology are taught thematically as part of a topic based curriculum.
